India and Sacred Spirituality

DATES COMING SOON!
Goa, India

Spend seven magical days at a boutique retreat center in the heart of beautiful Goa (India) immersing yourself in the sacred teachings of yoga.  Each day we will explore a different aspect of yoga and tangibly apply it to your life so you can benefit from its transformative powers. We’ll meditate with the sun, dive deep into your asana practice, explore the subtle energies in the body and take our yoga out of the retreat center and into service in the community. A trip to India truly is life changing and this retreat will be unforgettable.

THE VENUE

Satsanga, voted one of the best retreat centers in India, is located in the peaceful village of Verla Canca in the state of Goa. Surrounded by lush jungle and only minutes away from the beach, Satsanga is one of the most beautiful and serene centers in India. The boutique retreat center has two yoga shalas, a beautiful pool, lush tropical gardens, an Ayurvedic spa, and an on-site organic Ayurvedic chef to prepare loving meals for you daily. Come restore, rejuvenate and enjoy yourself.

THE SERVICE

Karma Yoga is one of the most direct paths to enlightenment. It is based on the idea that in order to progress as individuals the whole of humanity must also be lifted up and this can only be done with action taken by pure motive and with no attachment to outcomes. We will be performing three acts of service: the first in our hometown of Santa Barbara (or where ever you live) before the official retreat starts, the second in India and the third will be a surprise.

THE YOGA

A yoga retreat is about you diving deep into your own practice. Each body is so unique and no one shape works the same on each body. Every day of the retreat we will be taking the time to break down and move deeper into a themed series of poses as they relate to your individual body. Expect hands-on work, lots of individual attention and special clinics to further examine matrices of poses.

YOUR ADVENTURE

A trip to India is the trip of a lifetime. There is nowhere else in the world that holds such transformative power in one place. Since my first trip to India in 2012, I’ve gone almost every year since! This will be my 6th trip and it is an absolute honor to welcome you to my yoga home. I highly encourage you to spend an extra few days in India and have your own adventure.  A retreat is a perfect place to get accustomed to culture before you embark and I am more than happy to help you book anything you might to want to explore!
